Terms of Service
Effective September 4, 2026. These terms cover your use of jargonassistant.com, operated by Branch Trading Co, LLC.
What this is
Jargon Assistant converts workplace communications between plain language and standard professional phrasing. Results are generated automatically and are suggestions, not advice. Read anything before you send it.
Accounts
You do not need an account to use the free tier. Paid access is tied to the email address used at checkout, so use an address you can still receive mail at. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Plans and payment
- Free. 3 uses per day, no account required.
- Founding Member. $29, paid once. Limited to 250 purchases in total.
- Standard. $39 / year or $5 / month, renewing until cancelled.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown before you pay and tax is added where required. Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time from the link on your Stripe receipt or by emailing us.
The 250 Founding Member limit is real
The limit is enforced by our systems, not by a marketing countdown. Purchase slots are numbered and issued transactionally, so the tier closes permanently once 250 purchases complete. The number shown on the pricing page is read live from that record. There is no hidden extension and no reopening.
What "permanent" means
A Founding Member purchase does not expire and is not affected by later price changes. It is not a subscription and will never be converted into one.
To be plain about the limit of that promise: permanent means for as long as Jargon Assistant operates. It is not a guarantee that the service will run forever. If we ever discontinue it, we will give Founding Members at least 30 days notice by email and a way to export their saved history. We think you would rather have that stated honestly than implied otherwise.
Refunds
- Founding Member: refundable within 14 days of purchase, for any reason. Your access ends when the refund is issued and your purchase slot returns to the pool.
- Standard: cancel at any time. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for. We do not automatically refund partial periods, but if you cancel shortly after a renewal you did not intend, email us and we will sort it out.
Email admin@everycorporatever.com to request a refund. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.
Acceptable use
Do not:
- Use automated means to exceed the free limit, or share an account to avoid paying.
- Submit content you do not have the right to share, or that contains other people's sensitive personal information.
- Use output to deceive, harass, defraud, or impersonate anyone.
- Resell or redistribute the service.
Paid plans described as unlimited are for normal individual use. We apply automated limits to stop scripted abuse; you will not encounter them using the app by hand.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you submit and what comes back. You give us permission to process it in order to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. Because results are generated automatically, identical or similar output may be returned to other people.
Availability and disclaimers
The service is provided as is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that any result is accurate, appropriate, or suitable for a given situation. Output is generated by an automated system and may be wrong. You are responsible for what you choose to send.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Ending access
You can stop using the service at any time and request deletion from your account page. We may suspend access for a breach of these terms, and where we do that to a paid account without cause, we will refund the unused portion.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email to account holders. Changes never reduce access already purchased by a Founding Member.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law rules.
